On days when we can get started early, The Rock Store could be our first destination. Arrive early enough and you can enjoy a good breakfast (I like the Chile Cheese Omelet). The Rock Store is located on Mulholland Highway, in the Santa Monica Mountains. From the north, you can exit the Ventura Fwy, 101, on Kanan Road, and proceed south. Continue to Sierra Creek and go left for a quick shortcut. But you can also turn left on Cornell Road, shortly after leaving the freeway. In both cases, turn right upon coming to Mulholland Hwy. Either way, you and your 4N RockeT^® will enjoy the ride. On weekends, you can't miss it with all the crowd. And a great crowd at that.

If you are lucky enough, you may be able to catch a glimpse of certain celebrities that are into motorcycling. For instance, on a Sunday morning you might see Jay Leno pulling in on his classic Vincent. Or the Terminator himself (Arnold) could show up on his Harley.

After your visit at The Rock Store, you can continue south on Mulholland and take various paths to the coastline. Mulholland to PCH is great, but so is Decker Road.
