I know that the TL-1000 is not in the same class as the GSX-R, but believe me, you can have just as much fun with this 4N RockeT®, if you know what I mean. One of the reasons which allowed me to sell my '86 GSX-R1100, was the fact that this thing wheelies just like it, although it doesn't have the 135HP at the rear wheel, it has no problem getting the front up. Just a twist of the throttle is plenty. Of course I won't be able to do my 100 MPH wheelies anymore, but hey, maybe I'll live longer.
Suzuki has since added to the TL line, the TL-1000R, which is a completely different bike, aimed at the racetrack but still utilizing the V-Twin 1000cc powerplant with some modifications.
